COURSE DESCRIPTION

Demons, Ghouls, and Monsters 101 introduces students to Vampires. It explains what Vampires are, how they are made, and how to protect against them as simply as possible. The 200-series courses on Vampires will introduce more details about Vampires and how to hunt them.

PARENTAL ADVISORY

The creatures introduced in this course are scary, but the point of the lesson is to help students overcome their fear of the unknown.

CERTIFICATION

There is a quiz after the first lesson. Students with a passing grade will earn a certificate.

Headmaster Thomas

Thomas Brown serves as headmaster and Professor of Potions at Waters End Academy. He is the visiting Maître de Conférences Associé for his expertise in Demons, Ghouls, and Monsters at Archambeau Academy of Magic and a Forskningsprofessor at Jespersen Institute where he is a frequent guest lecturer on the subject of Vampires.

Headmaster Brown is descended from a long line of monster hunters including his famous grandfather, also named Thomas, who identified and staked an ancient bloodline of vampires in 1917 at Château de Fère in France. Headmaster Brown has personally tracked all manner of evil creatures in America, Canada, Czech Republic, England, France, Denmark, Germany, Holland, Hungary, Ireland, and Mexico.
