EVENT DESCRIPTION
Join Waters End Academy for Witch Board Wednesday on Wednesday October 28 starting at 5:30 PM. This is the first in a series of Witch Board events that will allow students to contact spirits and ask questions under the supervision of the Headmaster.
During Witch Board Wednesdays, students will enter a haunting setting lit by candles, decorated with spooky objects, and warmed by an outdoor stone hearth. Students will learn how to use a witch board and participate in questions and answers. Pairs of students will take turns sitting at a table with the board and using the planchette. The entire group will suggest the questions to be asked.
The Headmaster will supervise the activity. Professor Eurion Ravenel, Waters End Academy’s expert on Ghosts & Spirits, will make an appearance at the event.
Attendance shall be limited and seating socially distanced for safety reasons, so please register in advance.
Students should take Ghosts & Spirits 201 before attending the event. This is a new course on Witch Boards that will become available no later than Monday October 26.
PARENTAL GUIDANCE
The event will take place in the backyard patio of the Headmaster in Waters End. Safe distancing will be enforced. It will last approximately one hour and end just after sunset. Students should arrive at the Headmaster’s residence at the starting time and enter by way of the side entrance gate. Unaccompanied students will be escorted home after the event by a chaperone.
