Necromancer Appears
All Hallows Eve in Waters End was marked by a visit by William the Necromancer, as forewarned by a pair of beautiful Vampires who haunted the village earlier in the month. William was spotted by several students of Waters End Academy and captured by night-vision cameras.
William was a powerful Wizard who studied Ghosts and Spirits, as well as Monsters. He specialized in Vampires. His studies drew him to Necromancy – a form of black magic involving the summoning of spirits and raising them bodily from the dead. His interest in Necromancy caused a rift with other Wizards
William is said to have gone missing more than twenty years ago during a mission to investigate Vampires in Prague, the capital of Czech Republic. He was last seen alive leaving an opera at the Smetana Theatre in the Vinohrady district of the city. He was accompanied by two mysterious ladies in black. His colleagues in Prague feared that he was captured and turned by the very Vampires he was hunting.
William’s appearance at Waters End seems tied to his brother, Thomas, who serves as Headmaster at the local school for Witches and Wizards. William was spotted lurking near the Headmaster’s residence where he was confronted by several students of Waters End Academy. Fortunately, the students had cast a protection spell earlier in the evening, making them resistant to William’s attempts to mesmerize them.
Although William disappeared by the end of the night, it is believed that he has taken up residence somewhere in the area and remains a threat. Students are advised to keep a watch out for him.
